It can be an entry point to coaching\, depending on the ability and confidence of the learner. It is directed at learners who have an interest in sport and physical activity. \nThis qualification could lead to learners completing sport-specific coaching qualifications at level 3 or above. The skills and knowledge developed through this qualification may also be used enable them to progress to other industry-relevant qualifications in coaching sports\, activity leadership\, supporting PE in school sport and sports development. \n															\n																														 \nWho is this course for?\nFor those who wish to become involved in coaching\, and to have responsibility for the planning\, delivery\, and evaluation of an annual Coaching Programme. \nYou’re currently operating unqualified and wish to gain recognition of their coaching practice. \nThis qualification could lead to learners completing sport-specific coaching qualifications at level 3 or above. The skills and knowledge developed through this qualification may also be used enable them to progress to other industry- relevant qualifications in coaching sports\, activity leadership\, supporting PE in school sport and sports development. \nThis is for you if you wish to improve their generic coaching skills. \nCourse Experience\n                Phase 1 \nComplete associated tasks within their qualification portfolio. This will involve: \n\nCompleting a participant/player profile\nDesigning and planning an annual / seasonal periodised coaching programme for a participant or team\, based on the outcome of the participant/playerprofile.\nProducing a minimum of 8 coaching sessions\, ideally lasting an hour induration.\n\nOnce these elements are completed\, you will submit your portfolio to us. This will beassessed by an assessor\, and we will provide you with feedback. \n                Phase 2 \nDeliver 1 x 40-minute physical activity /sport session in their own environment. This can be selected from one of the eight coaching sessions produced above. This should be videoed and sent to us for assessment. Feedback will be provided by a Coach Developer. \n                Phase 3 \nDeliver 1 x 40-minute physical activity /sport session in their own environment. This can be selected from one of the eight coaching sessions produced above. This should be videoed and sent to us for assessment. Therefore\, learners could complete phase 1 initially and then progress onto phase 2 and 3 when appropriate.
